February - WAS GEHT?
February felt like exactly what January promised – a proper reset and a little reminder why we keep doing this! Great energy at the last Concept101 night, so big thanks to everyone who came through and sweated it out with us (shame about the Federalismo) – if you attended & haven’t already, have a quick look in your inbox, there’s a couple of short feedback questions in there that really help us shape the next rounds/ decision on further events
Im Februar fühlte es sich so an, als hätte der Januar genau das eingelöst, was er versprochen hat – ein richtiger Reset und eine kleine Erinnerung daran, warum wir das alles machen. Die letzte Concept101‑Nacht war genau so, wie wir es lieben, deshalb ein großes Danke an alle, die mit uns geschwitzt haben – wenn ihr es noch nicht gemacht habt, checkt bitte kurz euren Posteingang, dort warten ein paar kurze Feedbackfragen, mit denen ihr die nächsten Runden direkt mitgestaltet.
FFM - WAS GEHT?
Around us in FFM the calendar is already getting busy again: Robert Johnson keeps rolling on nicely– Cinthie and Meat dropped by mid‑month, & of course you probably saw Villalobos was in town not long after. All in that little room on the river that somehow still feels like a secret. This weekend in RJ also looks Bombe, Electric Friday looks a solid night, resident Inkasso has a great sound & will be blessing the new floor. Nice booking Saturday, you can see favourite Gerd Jansen back in town!!
Um uns herum füllt sich der Kalender schon wieder ordentlich: Im Robert Johnson reiht sich ein House‑Highlight ans nächste – Cinthie und Meat Mitte des Monats. Dieses Wochenende wird fett, Electric Friday wird richtig nice – Resident Inkasso bringt seinen geilen Sound mit und segnet den neuen Floor ein. Und am Samstag ist endlich wieder Gerd Jansen in der Stadt – Lieblings-Selector ist back!
Over in Tokonoma things continue to be building nicely too – CLUB BIZARRE x MDG weekend just gone, with nd_baumecker & friends, a marathon one 21:30 until late late. Solid booking got to know at Kantina events, the in demand night, rooted in queer culture & expression by all accounts well received. This weekend sees Jay Tripwire in town, what a booking, expect plenty of rolling minimal grooves, dubby basslines, if you like hypnotic futuristic house, tip of the weekend… go check out!
Drüben im Tokonoma läuft alles weiterhin richtig gut – am vergangenen Wochenende war CLUB BIZARRE x MDG dort zu Gast, mit nd_baumecker und weiteren Artists – ein Marathon von 21:30 bis spät in die Nacht, verwurzelt in queerer Kultur, Ausdruck und natürlich großartiger Musik. An diesem Wochenende ist Jay Tripwire in der Stadt – was für ein Booking! Wenn du auf futuristischen House stehst, kannst du dich auf viele rollende Minimal-Grooves und dubbige Basslines freuen. Tipp fürs Wochenende: Unbedingt auschecken!
Filling up the social media feed it’s good to see XOYO London back on the map – the Shoreditch basement has had a full refurb, the Void soundsystem has been tuned again, new booth and stage layout, LEDs, upstairs “Jungle” room – basically a proper relaunch and the club back under independent ownership, which is the right move & what we need more of in London right now.
Mein social media Feed ist voll davon – schön zu sehen, dass XOYO London wieder auf der Karte steht. Der Keller in Shoreditch wurde komplett renoviert: das Void-Soundsystem neu abgestimmt, die Booth- und Bühnenanordnung überarbeitet, neue LEDs, oben der „Jungle“-Raum – im Grunde ein richtiges Relaunch. Der Club ist jetzt wieder in unabhängiger Hand – genau der richtige Schritt und genau das, was London im Moment mehr braucht

Some announcements we are keen on as we Look ahead. 11 April is for us: Hidden in Uferlos Beach club/ Grüne See with Monsieur Vide and Alicia. For the Techno Leute, Toxic Family have also dropped news of their Techno Classics at THW later in the year, which should scratch that old‑school itch nicely.
On the hunt for new music? Jordan Masters, One Over, 2D.name, ODR have all recently shared some awesome records go check the socials.
Einige Ankündigungen, auf die wir uns freuen, wenn wir nach vorn blicken. Der 11. April ist für uns reserviert: Hidden im Uferlos Beachclub/ Grüne See mit Monsieur Vide und Alicia. Für die Techno-Leute haben auch die Toxic Family-Heads Neuigkeiten über ihre Techno Classics im THW später im Jahr veröffentlicht – das dürfte den Oldschool-Hunger perfekt stillen.
Neue music? Jordan Masters, One Over, 2D.Name, ODR hat außerdem ein paar großartige Tracks rausgebracht – schaut mal auf den Socials vorbei.
Behind the scenes, we’re close to locking in the C101 return to England for spring/summer, and the Ibiza plans are taking shape too – we have a club show and a boat party lined up for the second week of September, Artist line‑up to be announced once the ink is dry. Out on the White island there’s already chatter about upgraded systems and “sound‑led” makeovers… so it will be interesting to see which clubs/rooms actually deliver, it’s only gonna get more exciting as the count down to the summer goes on!
Hinter den Kulissen stehen wir kurz davor, die Rückkehr von C101 nach England für Frühling/Sommer festzuzurren, und auch die Ibiza-Pläne nehmen Form an – ein Club‑Show und eine Bootsparty sind für die zweite Septemberwoche geplant, das Line-up wird bekannt gegeben, sobald alles unter Dach und Fach ist. Auf der Insel gibt es bereits Gerüchte über aufgerüstete Soundsysteme und „sound‑getriebene“ Makeovers… also wird es spannend zu sehen, welche Venues tatsächlich liefern – je näher der Sommer rückt, desto aufregender wird es!
